Members Area with Customer Self-Service

Allow customers to access a secure area where they can view order history and resend themselves pin number and download link emails (if they didn't receive the first one because of junk mail protection or they have misplaced/deleted the original email). Customer self-service means you don't have to attend to your computer all day and all night. The convenience of the Members Area and Customer Self-Service helps create "stickiness" on your site and encourages customer loyalty. Back to TOP

Sorting Records

The EW Business Portal was built with predefined, non-customizable ordering of records. What happens when you need to find something other than what the original developer felt was important to be at the top of the list? Have you ever been in the EW Business Portal and wanted to find something quickly but had to change the config settings or scroll through pages and pages of info to find what you're looking for? With the Sorting Records feature, you can sort your records in ascending or descending order based on any field criteria. For example, you can determine Who was the most recent customer that ordered, Who has spent the most/least money with me, how many people with the last name Smith have ordered from me, what are my most recently created or sold pin numbers, and any other question you may have that can be answered within your data. Sort information to find what you're looking for easier and faster. Back to TOP

Item On/Off Switch

Temporarily turn products on and off without deleting them from your system. Turning a product off makes it invisible to the site visitor although it still exists in your EW Business Portal. Have you ever had a product/item that you needed to take off the market temporarily? Maybe it went bad, is no longer of relevance, is being improved, or is a seasonal product. Maybe you're modifying the contents of download, an ebook, or a file. Whatever the reason, this feature allows you to simply turn items off and back on when necessary.Back to TOP

Automatic Inventory Control

Have you ever run out of an item (stock = 0) but had a customer purchase it? Have you seen the email that gets sent to the customer when that happens? Have you spent more time trying to keep the customer happy by scrambling to find a replacement item and struggling with sending it in the right format, like when it is sent automatically from the system using a template? The Automatic Inventory Control allows you to automatically hide products if the inventory level hits 0 so customers can't order an item that is out of stock. Similar to the Item On/Off feature, Automatic Inventory Control removes the capability for a buyer to purchase an item if the inventory level goes to 0. Different from the Item On/Off feature, this happens automatically, whereas Item On/Off is a manual process. With Automatic Inventory Control, the item still appears on your website (as though it's for sale), but instead of the "Add to Cart" or "Buy Now" buttons appearing, a "Temporarily out of Product X" message appears to the client. Item Display Order

This feature allows you to modify the display order of items within your website. Put your best selling products at the top of the list, or try new strategies at will to increase sales.Back to TOP

Discounts

Want to reward customers who buy more than 1 item? Create your own pre-determined discount levels. Several levels of discounts can be programmed (i.e. Buy up to 3 items and get 5% off. Buy 4-10 items and save 10%. Buy 11 + items and save 15%).Back to TOP

Minimum Purchase Amount

If PayPal processing fees are eating up your profit margin, use the minimum order amount to force the customer to spend a minimum amount. Back to TOP

Enhanced Affiliate Features

Depending on your installation, the standard EW Business Portal affiliate system does not always replicate the shopping cart functionality for affiliate sites - it just allows affiliate sites to sell items individually. We can modify your affiliate system to allow affiliates to have the same functionality as your main site. You can also offer your affiliates increased branding with a customized logo that appears on their affiliate page.Back to TOP

Increased Anti-fraud Control

Ban customers from placing orders on your site or accessing their order history. This works well with the "Moderate Digital Items" and "Digital Asset Protection Policies" in the config section of the EW Business Portal. Did you know that PayPal almost always sides with the customer on disputes of digital item delivery and charges? Combine that with phishing (where people steal other people's PayPal account username and password) and you've got a losing proposition. With the BAN feature, you can prevent people who you think or know are fraudulent buyers from purchasing on your site and accessing the Members Area.Back to TOP

Sell Physical Tangible Goods

We can help you integrate the sale of tangible goods (as opposed to digital goods) on your EW Business Portal. Sell a product that needs to be shipped via post to your customer. Using this feature, your customers still instantly receive notification of their successful purchase and can even be assigned a unique product identifier (in the pins section) to confirm their purchase and product allocation. You can be a garage-based product shipping company but evoke the image of a large warehouse-based organization or you can be a large warehouse-based organization and accurately reflect your company's image.Back to TOP

Streamlined and Simplified Customer Support

Streamlining and simplifying customer support is not one specific feature, but an overall combination of several EW Business Portal enhancements that we've built. We have taken many steps to enable many service-oriented EW Business Portal features within the Portal itself, keeping your business operations within the EW Business Portal entirely browser based and neither reliant nor dependent on you having access to email.

Have you ever noticed that the EW Business Portal sometimes requires you to open your email program to gather certain information, such as when you're moderating first time digital item orders or helping someone replace a lost pin or download link? If so, you can moderate orders from within the customers screen so you don't have to forward the email to your clients from your email inbox. The EW Business Portal sends you the email and tells you that you need to forward to the customer after you've confirmed the customer is legitimate. Our enhancement allows the entire approval process to take place within the customer screen. Further, you can send them their pin or download link email and send them their site password. Likewise, your customers can resend themselves pin numbers, download links and their site password from within the Members Area. Back to TOP

Instant Service Notification to Cell Phone

What happens when your customers experience a problem and can't reach you because you are not at your computer? What is the advantage of being able to provide instant customer service to a client (assuming their problem cannot be solved by the automated customer self-service module that we offer)? We can set your site to notify your cell phone when customers submit service inquiries. Now you can react quickly and keep customers happy.
